Mini Motorists

The British Motor Museum is delighted to announce its Mini Motorists under 5s activity dates for 2019. These specially designed sessions are free for those under 5 years of age and take place on the 3rd Monday of every month. The spring dates are Monday 25 February, 18 March, 15 April and 20 May.

Designed specifically for children aged under five, the sessions have a different theme each month such as Fire Engines, Racing-Cars, Jaguars, and celebrating Minis 60th birthday etc and includes a mix of activities such as crafts, story-telling and playtime. Parents, grandparents, carers and their toddlers can drop into the Museum from 10:30am – 12noon on the specified Mondays and discover the world’s largest collection of historic British cars through various play activities.

The Museum is buggy friendly and all on one level. There are baby changing facilities and a lift (or escalator) to the Café, which is family friendly too. The Café offers highchairs, children’s lunch box meals, as well as delicious hot drinks, main meals and cake!

Emma Rawlinson, Life Long Learning Officer at the British Motor Museum said “We love holding our Mini Motorist events, they are becoming increasingly popular with new and returning faces each month. Whatever the age of our visitors, we want to ensure that a visit to the Museum is as fun and entertaining as possible and that includes our little motoring enthusiasts and their accompanying parents or carers!”
