The Nene Valley Railway... A delightful 7½ mile journey behind steam or heritage diesel locomotives alongside the River Nene from Wansford to Peterborough via Yarwell. The Railway is home to the original Thomas a children’s favourite, which is often in steam. Special events held throughout the year. Free parking, cafeteria 7 days, gift shop and children’s play area available at Wansford station.
