Discover 428 million years of history in just 45 minutes on an underground boat trip. Journey into the limestone mines under Castle Hill in Dudley, through tunnels dug out by hand by the miners of the Black Country hundreds of years ago.

Our skippers will tell you our story, from tropical sea bed to the mines that fuelled the Industrial Revolution. Enjoy breathtaking audio visual shows in our caverns and marvel at an underground environment like nothing you’ve ever seen.

After your trip explore our Portal building. Learn more in our Biffa Award interactive exhibition gallery, pick up a souvenir in our shop, have a look at our visiting artist exhibitions and stop off for coffee and a cake or lunch in our Gongoozler restaurant overlooking the canal.

Alternatively, book on one of our open water cruises and see the industrial relics of this fascinating area. With a detailed guidebook and our knowledgeable skipper, you will learn so much about the area as well as enjoying the wonderful wildlife, flora and fauna which has developed along the canals. Marvel at the tunnels, enjoy a trip to Bumblehole Nature Reserve and experience the thrill of navigating the locks and watercourses. If you want something a little more special book our covered dining boat and enjoy lunch as you sail.
