Corbridge and its revitalised museum offer a unique window into the lives and aspirations of the generations of soldiers, citizens and local traders who lived and worked here. From spring 2018, your groups can discover its rich, internationally important collection through a brand new permanent exhibition, showcasing many objects that have never been displayed before. Home to the Corbridge Hoard, one of the most significant finds from Roman Britain, every object on display has come from this fascinating site, which sits at the heart of the remains of the Roman town.

  • Walk through the town along the original Roman high street once filled with the frenetic bustle of a thriving Roman marketplace.

  • Discover internationally significant Roman objects, from exquisite jewellery to the fierce Corbridge Lion.

  • Encounter the Corbridge Hoard and discover how it changed our understanding of Roman armour.
