Pencarrow house and gardens has been the friendly family home of the Molesworth-St Aubyns for almost 500 years. Tucked away on the edge of Bodmin Moor, this Cornish Georgian gem offers plenty to do, with a Grade 11 listed garden, Iron Age fort, children's play area, cafe and gift shop.

Bluebell & Wild Garlic Sunday (29th April)

Come along and see our beautiful bluebells on display. The Friends of Pencarrow will be here selling wild garlic recipes to sample!! Normal entry fee and opening times apply.

Open air theatre production of Sense & Sensibility (13th June)

Come and join us for a fabulous evening of theatre with the Chapterhouse Theatre Company here in the gardens at Pencarrow.

Tickets are available from the Pencarrow Shop or you can order them over the phone on 01208 841369.

Gates open at 6.00pm ready for the performance to start at 7.00pm

Marie Curie Garden Party (3th August)

Come along and help Marie Curie celebrate its 70th year with a huge garden party here in the gardens. Delicious cream teas and snacks available in the café, vintage cars, craft stalls and much more. All garden entry fees will be donated to Marie Curie.

Hits from the Blitz (17th August)

Step back in time with us again, right back into the 1940’s and dance the night away to Jump Jive band, Company B and Andy Marshall. Forties dress encouraged and bring a picnic and seating. Soak up the atmosphere in our beautiful gardens, 1940’s style! Tickets available from the Pencarrow shop or you can reserve them over the phone on 01208 841369.

Mega Book Sale (16th September)

The Friends of Pencarrow will be hosting their ever-popular book sale in the Peacock Cafe.  Bigger than ever before!

10.00am – 4.00pm

Normal garden entry applies.

Gilbert & Sullivan Evening (12th October)

With The Wandering Minstrels.

An evening of light hearted songs & scenes from Gilbert & Sullivan comic operas beautifully sung and staged in our drawing room.

Pencarrow Christmas Fair (17-18th November)

Fantastic food hall and the best craft producers in Cornwall to inspire you in time for Christmas.

10.30am – 4.30pm, entrance £2.50.

Christmas Carols (7-8th December)

Come along and join us for an evening of carols from Old Cornwall with the Washaway Gallery Choir in our beautiful drawing room. Enjoy a warm glass of mulled wine and a homemade mince pie, included in the price.
