Sky High PR & Social Media Success!

Now the sand has settled, the aircraft have flown, the event site has been packed away for another year and hundreds of thousands of people have left the resort - marketing and PR statistics show this year’s Air Festival was the most successful in terms of coverage and exposure! With four days of great weather, more than one million people came to see the aviation action and enjoy free entertainment.

Media presence on site at the festival included local and regional television and radio stations alongside media correspondents from Japan’s Nippon TV and Chinese news reporters both here specifically to cover the awesome Gravity Industries jet suit pilots. In addition, news of Gravity’s record breaking success reached Germany and went as far as India.

Air Festival PR coverage has been valued at an impressive £18million, which includes online, print, radio and 12 television pieces over the four days.

Online exposure and engagement amassed an impressive Facebook reach of 6million with 533,000 Facebook user engagement – there were a staggering 741,000 video views, up 192% on 2017.
One specific video, which was received incredibly well, was the announcement of the Breitling Jet Team.  Supported by Morgan Sindall Investments Limited and Morgan Sindall Construction and Infrastructure (MSIL & MSC&I) the announcement of the Breitling Jet Team making their long-awaited return to Britain was viewed more than 54,000 times.

In addition, online statistics showed that the official Air Festival website, received over 782,000 page views during the festival week alone.
