Heart of England What's On

Shakespeare and Cider at Butford Organics

Butford Organics are proud to host The Three Inch Fools production of Much Ado About Nothing on 8 August. Five actors, with all manner of musical instruments, present an inventive take on Shakespeare’s rip-roaring comedy of quarrels, deceptions and a frustratingly stupid man called Dogberry.

The Three Inch Fools are a five-strong troupe of actors, performing a highly imaginative and vibrantly musical take on Shakespeare's plays across the UK. This summer, their fifth season on the road, will see the Fools perform two Shakespeare plays, taking on over 40 characters, playing more than 20 different musical instruments, visiting 100 venues in over 40 counties across Scotland, England and Wales.

The Fools do Shakespeare differently - a fast-paced, musically-driven style, using all sorts of different instruments, plenty of multi-roling and many a quick costume change along the way.

On 8 August you can catch The Three Inch Fools at Butford Organics to see their new production of Much Ado About Nothing. Bring a picnic along and enjoy the drama and revelry in this unique setting. 7.00pm start time, picnics welcome from 6.00pm. There will be a bar with the full range of our organic products - sparkling perry, cider and apple juice.

Ticket Prices: Adult £16, Children under 18 £8, Family (2 adults, 2 children) £40, children under 10 free

Tickets are available online using the link above or directly from Butford Organics by visiting the Farm.
