Castle Ashby House is the ancestral home of the 7th Marquess of Northampton. The house is set amidst a 10,000 acre working estate with an extensive 35 acres of gardens which are open to the public 365 days a year.

Castle Ashby Gardens are a mixture of many different styles including a beautiful butterfly garden, picturesque rainbow border, colourful fuchsia house (May-September), large arboretum including a nature trail and the formal Italian gardens with a nineteenth century conservatory. The majority of the existing garden layout dates back to the mid 1860’s.

A children’s playground and animal menagerie with a wide selection of rare breed animals can also be found within the gardens and includes a tea room, plant centre and gift shop.
