Crowned by Windsor Castle and linked by the River Thames, the Royal Borough has a rich mix of history, culture, heritage and fun offering a wealth of interest and inspiration for groups of all sizes. From historic houses, gardens and fine 20th-century art to open top bus tours, horse-drawn carriage rides, museums, blue badge guided walks, boat trips and world-class horse racing, there is something for everyone.

What we do for groups
We aim to make your job easier whether you are arranging a day visit or short break for your group, planning a familiarisation visit or setting up regular tours.

We recognise the importance of groups and so do our attractions, indeed many of them have staff dedicated to making your group visit a happy and successful experience.

Itinerary Planning
It may be your first visit or your fifteenth!  In either case you may be looking for inspiration on what to see, what’s new and how best to combine a range of attractions within a particular time frame.  There may well be some undiscovered ‘hidden gems’ that will make your visit extra special!

We produce a range of downloadable itineraries to give you some ideas.  We are also happy to offer personal advice and make suggestions for your group so you get the most out of your trip.

Fam Trips
We occasionally run familiarisation visits so do contact us to register your interest.  If you are organising your own fam trip, please let us know if we can help.

Free Town Centre Maps

Everyone appreciates a useful map.  Our FREE A4 colour tear-off town centre maps of Windsor/Eton and Maidenhead come in pads of 50 and are perfect for groups.  Order in advance or pick up a pad at the Royal Windsor Information Centre on the day.

Royal Windsor Coach Park
The Coach Park is centrally located in Alma Road and is clearly signposted from all approach routes.  There are 74 coach parking spaces available on a pay and display basis.  Facilities for visitors and coach drivers at the coach park include toilets, restaurant, gift and souvenir shops.

Accommodation for Groups

There’s lots of see and do here so you may be considering an overnight stay.  Let the Royal Windsor Information Centre use their local knowledge to find a great group rate at a nearby hotel so you can fit more into your tour.
