For centuries, this Grade I listed 17th-century house, one of the finest Restoration houses in the British Isles, was home to the flamboyant Morgan family. has seen a colourful past. Enjoy traditional games in the elegant formal gardens, and explore the 90 acres of parkland, complete with woodland walk, playground, park café and lake.


Upstairs, you can immerse yourself in the stories of family life in the elegant state rooms, while ‘below stairs’, envisage work in the Victorian kitchens. The house is set in a 36-hectare (90-acre) park with an impressive avenue of veteran oak trees, woodland walks, open parkland and a lake. A formal series of three walled gardens including a distinctive parterre garden lie adjacent to the Orangery, leading to the impress Grade I listed stables.
