Situated on the town’s stunning waterfront, a stone’s throw from the centre and the ferry port, Oban Youth Hostel has recently been refurbished to 5-star standard. The youth hostel now boasts modern facilities and a refreshed décor throughout. Further accommodation is available at our adjoining Lodge and rooms have panoramic sea views across the bay. A great location for groups with plenty to do in the area.

Oban Youth Hostel is ideal for exploring the surrounding area. Nearby attractions include Oban Distillery, McCaig’s Tower, St Columba’s Cathedral, Scottish Sea life Sanctuary and Oban War & Peace Museum. Oban also boasts many good restaurants, bars, shops and outdoor activities including scuba diving, sea kayaking, sailing and sea safari boat trips. The Western Isles - including Mull, Colonsay, Coll and Tiree - are easily accessible by ferry, making day trips or short breaks possible.
