Bowood House & Gardens, home to the Lansdowne family, is celebrating it's 50th anniversary with a new house exhibition “BOWOOD: CELEBRATING 50 YEARS OF OPEN DAYS” is displayed within Bowood House focuses on the evolution of Bowood since opening to the public. This year and for the first time in Bowood’s history, visitors are able to visit the Walled Garden between 12:00 and 16:30 daily.
Bowood lies within 100 acres of Grade 1 listed ‘Capability’ Brown parkland, a Walled Garden and the Woodland Garden. It is the perfect day out for groups visiting Wiltshire, for either a few hours or a full day. There is plenty of parking, group discounts and specialist tours available to suit groups with varying interests.
