The exhibition is a journey of discovery exploring the creativity and imagination of British neo-classical architectural design. With designs for both real and imagined buildings on display, the exhibition invites us to playfully explore these structures and question our understanding of the buildings we see around us.
Drawn from the collection of one of Britain’s most pioneering architects, Sir John Soane, you will be able to see how Soane’s influential architectural style and teachings inspired a generation of architects, reshaping cities and towns across the country.
