Layer Marney Tower is England’s tallest Tudor gatehouse, built in the 1520’s by Henry Marney, Lord Privy Seal to Henry VIII. There are magnificent buildings to explore, visitors may climb to the top of the Tower to see fantastic views across the Blackwater estuary. Children’s play area and 120 acres of parkland.
