The Jameson Experience Midleton is located directly beside the modern working distillery where Jameson is produced today, after production in its original home in Dublin stopped in 1975.

Here at the Old Midleton Distillery you can access an array of old distillery buildings from the original Kilns to the pot stills all dating back as far as 1795. Visitors will be able to see and feel the old-style maturation process as we will be storing 1000 casks full with our traditional pot still whiskey. Additionally, Warehouse A1 has a wood display and a cooperage display where tour guides explain how whiskey casks are built from acorn to the finished product.

All tours are guided and take in both the internal spaces and external grounds of the Distillery. There is a choice of tour types you can take , from a standard Jameson Tour to a Premium Whiskey Tour or for true whiskey advocates a visit to the Irish Whiskey Academy is a must see.

Tours usually last from 1-2 hours subject to what you select on entry.
Tours operate seasonally and we would recommend wearing comfortable shoes as this is an outdoor walking tour.
