Near the centre of Edinburgh, Malleny is a peaceful, secluded haven renowned for its flamboyant plantings of old-fashioned roses and herbaceous perennials. Dominated by four magnificent, clipped yew trees (dating from the 17th century) this 1.2ha walled garden also has a vegetable and herb garden, Victorian greenhouse and surrounding woodland.
