Take a trip back in time to the 1760s at this spectacular Neo-classical mansion, framed by historic parkland.
Designed for lavish entertaining and displaying an extensive collection of paintings, sculptures and original furnishings, Kedleston is a stunning example of the work of architect Robert Adam. The Curzon family, in residence, have lived at the Hall since the 12th-century. Lord Curzon’s Eastern Museum is a treasure trove of fascinating objects acquired on his travels in Asia and while Viceroy of India (1899 to 1905). Kedleston was used as a key location for the Hollywood blockbuster, The Duchess.
Note: no groups permitted from 16 February to 7 March, due to limited opening arrangements. Groups should remain on coach to enjoy an on-board welcome from our team. Group leader should make payment in advance or on arrival, and collect tickets from visitor reception. Standard admission charges will apply for groups who choose to pay for admission individually.

The Wildlife Wander Let our wardens guide you along the three-mile Long Walk designed by Robert Adam in 1776. Find out about the history of the park and how it is managed, and take the opportunity to spot birds, insects and other wildlife. You'll also enjoy views of the mansion and parkland buildings. The Great Estate Buildings Tour
Perfect for groups who have visited Kedleston before and want to explore further, this tour gives you the opportunity to visit two of the more unusual buildings on the estate. Discover the impressive Great West Stable and the restored fishing pavilion and boathouses to see how the other half lived.
