A Cheshire icon not to be missed! This quirky black and white Tudor Hall, surrounded by a moat, is brought to life through free guided tours and Tudor festivals throughout the year.


You can take a peek at Tudor life with our costumed guides as you explore this charming and quirky property. Our small orchard, pretty knot garden and large front lawn provide the perfect setting for relaxing and enjoying time with friends and family. Our new visitor facilities include a larger shop located in the car park and delightful little tea-room and popular restaurant within the Hall.

Note: exclusive tours available (extra cost) or groups are welcome to join free general public tours.

Take a light-hearted look at Tudor life and times as you're led around one of Britain's most famous and arguably the finest timber-framed, moated manor house dating back over 500 years. Note: maximum group size 35 on open days, minimum 45 for out-of-hours tours.
