The Eden Project is an educational charity and a visitor destination in Cornwall. Nestled in a huge crater, massive Biomes housing the largest rainforest in captivity, stunning plants, exhibitions and stories serve as a backdrop to the striking contemporary gardens, summer concerts and exciting year-round family events.


Groups go further at Eden!

Travel the world in a day, take a bird’s eye view of the rainforest canopy. Savour the sights, scents and stories of the Mediterranean. The Eden Project is a Living Theatre of Plants and People – an award-winning educational charity described as the eighth wonder of the world. The famous Biomes contain the largest Rainforest in captivity, and a Mediterranean paradise, plus there are the fabulously landscaped gardens to explore.

 

2016 Activities

Game On
28 May – 5 June
Play your way through half-term, we’ll have a giant selection of hands-on games for all ages, from oversized versions of some of your favourites to the retro and traditional.

Dinosaurs
23 July – 4 September
In 2015 they tried to take over. In 2016, they’re here to finish what they started. This summer, Eden is getting ready for its biggest dinosaur invasion yet.

Festival of Food
9-11 September
Eden’s Festival of Food returns with a packed three-day programme, celebrating the best on offer in food and drink. Be inspired by the secrets of top celebrity chefs, and sample some delicious wares
from our selection of specialist suppliers.

Fruit, Fables & Folklore
12 September - 9 October
Autumn is a delightful time to visit Eden, to celebrate the season of plenty we have included Fruit, Fables & Folklore, a series of special daily events planned exclusively for group our visitors.

Eden Beer Festival
1 October
An evening of beery fun, fabulous food and live music with our friends from St Austell Brewery, featuring a huge range of speciality beers and ciders. (Advance booking is recommended for this over-18s ticketed event.)

Christmas at Eden
25 November – 2 January
Visit Eden at Christmas and discover festive delights for all the family. Our ever-popular ice rink returns and, on selected dates, visit later in the day and see the site transformed into a winter wonderland.


As well as an amazing day out the Eden Project is also recognised for the warm welcome it offers to visitors arriving by coach, benefits include discounted admission for groups of 10+ with a further reduction for visits during the Winter season.
