For over 550 years, men from Dartmouth lived and worked in this castle, defending their port. Now this picturesque artillery fort is once again alive with the sights and sounds of men preparing the defences. A new video animation and an audio and light installation add dramatic impact to the story of the site. Access for minibuses only. Café not managed by English Heritage.
