Trewidden was purchased by Edward Bolitho in the mid-19th Century. Today still in the care of the Bolitho Family the 15 acre garden is one of the Great Gardens of Cornwall and has a nationally acclaimed collection of Magnolias, Camellias and Tree Ferns.
These, combined with strong links to West Cornwall’s mining heritage, make for a fascinating visit. There is a free children’s trail set around the garden which will keep them entertained during their visit. The perfect way to end your visit is to relax and enjoy the view with a delicious Cream Tea or Light Lunch in our Tea Room.
Garden Admission
The Garden is open: Mid-February – Mid-September daily 10:30 – 5:30 (last admission 4:30pm)
Tours with the Head Gardener are available with prior booking.
