This fine 18th-century mansion sits on the shores of the Menai Strait, with breathtaking views of Snowdonia.
The surrounding gardens include an Australasian arboretum, formal Italianate terraces and an important rhododendron collection. At the heart of the 1930s interior of the Marquess of Anglesey’s ancestral family home is Rex Whistler’s 58-foot fantasy landscape mural. Note: ground floor of the house is accessible to manual wheelchairs only. Complimentary minibus service between the cricket pavilion and house (subject to volunteer availability).
